Installing and adjusting the
work rest
(Fig.C)
NOTE
u The gap between the grinding wheel[]
or the buffing wheel[2] and the work
rest[] should be as small as possible
and must not exceed 2mm.
u The work rest[] must never come into
contact with the grinding wheel[] or the
buffing wheel[2].
u Adjust the gap from time to time
repeatedly as the grinding wheel[] or
buffing wheel[2] wears out.
1. Mount the work rest[] to the product
using the knurled screw[] and nut[].
2. Hold the nut[] with one finger in the
recess of the metal safety guard[].
3. Securely fasten the work rest[] to the
product with the knurled screw[].
4. Adjust the work rest[] in the horizontal
direction using the knurled screw[].

transparent screen and
spark arrestor

Installing the spark arrestor
NOTE
u Tighten the fastening screw[] to adjust
the spark arrestor[] in vertical direction.
NOTE
u The gap between the grinding wheel[]
or the buffing wheel[2] and the spark
arrestor[] shall be as small as possible
and must not exceed 2mm.
u The spark arrestor[] must never come
into contact with the grinding wheel[]
or the buffing wheel[2].
u Adjust the distance repeatedly from time
to time when the grinding wheel[] or
the buffing wheel[2] is worn.
1. Use the supplied mounting screw set[] to
attach the spark arrestor[] to the product.
2. Hold the nut of the mounting screw set[]
with an adjustable wrench.
3. Tighten the fastening screw of the mounting
screw set[] with a Torx screwdriver.
Installing the transparent screen
NOTE
u The transparent screen[] can be set
at different angles to ensure grinding
and polishing work with the greatest
possible protection. To do this, tighten the
fastening screw[].
1. Use the supplied fastening screw set[]
to fasten the transparent screen[] to the
spark arrestor[].
2. Hold the nut of the mounting screw set[]
with an adjustable wrench.
3. Tighten the fastening screw of the mounting
screw set[] with a Torx screwdriver.
