Operation
1) Prior to switching on, turn down the main control for the overall level to the left stop position to avoid a
possible switching-on noise. Then switch on the speaker system with the power switch. The POWER
indicator lights.
2) Use the LINE/PLAYER button to select which signal source is mixed to the master signal: button pressed
= signal of the built-in audio player, button not pressed = signal of the jacks LINE IN or AUX (model
208AP and 210AP).
3) Turn up the main level control and adjust the volume ratio of the signal sources with the corresponding
level controls.
Note
• Do not direct any microphones to speakers. This can result in dangerous and unpleasant acoustic
feedback which will generate a loud whistling sound.
4) Optimize the sound of the mixed signal with the tone controls.
5) Determine the definite level for the overall volume of the speaker system with the main level control. In
case of overload the red CLIP indicator lights up. If it lights continuously, turn back the main level control
accordingly.
6) After operation, set the main level control to minimum, and then switch off the speaker system with the
power switch. The power indicator goes out.
Setting up a Bluetooth connection with mobile devices
The built-in audio player features a Bluetooth receiver allowing you to stream music wirelessly from your
mobile devices such as smartphones, tablets and notebooks.
1) Engage the button LINE/PLAYER to assign the signal of the audio player to the master signal.
2) Press the MODE button (repeatedly) until the display indicates “
BLUETOOTH
“. The audio player will enter
the pairing mode.
3) Activate the Bluetooth function at the Bluetooth source and start the device scan. Select “
OMNITRONIC
“
from the list and connect the devices. When the connection is established, “
CONNECTED
“ is indicated in
the audio player’s display.
4) Now play music at the Bluetooth source as you normally would and the sound will come out of the
speaker system. Mix the Bluetooth signal to the master signal using the level control in the
PLAYER/LINE channel.
5) The Bluetooth source may also be operated via the audio player. To interrupt or continue the playback,
press the button ►
. With the buttons
and
you can skip titles in forward or backward direction.
The displays on the 208AP and 210AP models differ slightly from the description above.
