receivewarrantyserviceand,also,deliverorsendtheProductitem,transportationandinsuranceprepaid,toan
authorizedwarrantyservicelocation.WarrantyservicewillbeprovidedbyMOTOROLAthroughoneofits
authorizedwarrantyservicelocations.IfyourstcontactthecompanywhichsoldyoutheProduct(e.g.,dealeror
communicationserviceprovider),itcanfacilitateyourobtainingwarrantyservice.YoucanalsocallMOTOROLA
at1-800-927-2744intheUS/Canada.
V.WHATTHISWARRANTYDOESNOTCOVER:
1.DefectsordamageresultingfromuseoftheProductinotherthanitsnormal,customaryorauthorized
manner.
2.Defectsordamagefrommisuse,accident,water,neglectoractofGod.
3.Defectsordamagefromimpropertesting,operation,maintenance,installation,alteration,modication,or
adjustmentnotprovidedorauthorizedinwritingbyMOTOROLA.
4.Breakageordamagetoantennasunlesscauseddirectlybydefectsinmaterialworkmanship.
5.AProductsubjectedtounauthorizedProductmodications,disassemblesorrepairs(including,without
limitation,theadditiontotheProductofnon-MOTOROLAsuppliedequipment)whichadverselyaffect
performanceoftheProductorinterferewithMOTOROLA'snormalwarrantyinspectionandtestingofthe
Producttoverifyanywarrantyclaim.
6.Productwhichhashadtheserialnumberremovedormadeillegible.
7.Rechargeablebatteriesif:
•anyofthesealsonthebatteryenclosureofcellsarebrokenorshowevidenceoftampering.
•thedamageordefectiscausedbychargingorusingthebatteryinequipmentorserviceotherthan
theProductforwhichitisspecied.
8.Freightcoststotherepairdepot.
9.AProductwhich,duetoillegalorunauthorizedalterationofthesoftware/rmwareintheProduct,doesnot
functioninaccordancewithMOTOROLA'spublishedspecicationsortheFCCtypeacceptancelabeling
ineffectfortheProductatthetimetheProductwasinitiallydistributedfromMOTOROLA.
10.ScratchesorothercosmeticdamagetoProductsurfacesthatdoesnotaffecttheoperationoftheProduct.
11.Normalandcustomarywearandtear.
