BDC adjustment turret (model 3-18x56 BDC*)
The BDC turret is equipped with a zero stop. In practice,
this helps find the zero setting again by simply turning the
adjustment turret clockwise as far as it will go.
With the BDC adjustment turret, each click and scale mark of
the adjustment turret also causes the point of impact to change
by 1 cm at 100 m. A clockwise turn shifts the target downwards
or to the left. A counterclockwise turn shifts the target upwards
or to the right.
Proceed as follows to insert the BDC adjustment turret:
1. Remove the retaining screw (6) with a coin, for example
2. Remove the adjustment turret (3).
3. Turn the adjustment turret so that the reference mark (5)
on the turret base for example corresponds to 35 on the
scale. This allows the point of impact to be corrected in
both directions (up and down) without the zero stop taking
eect.
4. Replace the adjustment turret, press down and tighten it
with the retaining screw.
The adjustment turret can now be freely rotated in both
directions for firing.

*The 3-18x56 BDC model comes with the BDC turret included. For all
other models the BDC turret is available as an accessory. In addition
to a metric scale ring, a neutral ballistic ring is also included, on which
individual markings can be applied.
