Adjustment turrets with screw-on caps
The RS-6 scopes feature flat adjustment turrets with screw
caps (with the exception of the elevation adjustment turret of
the 3-18x56 BDC).
To zero in, first unscrew the elevation and lateral adjustment
caps (1 and 2). Below this there are rotatable adjustment
turrets (3 and 4) with a scale and a reference point for
the zero setting (5). Each click and scale graduation of the
adjustment turret means a change in the point of impact of 1
cm at 100 m. A clockwise turn shifts the target downwards or
to the left. A counterclockwise turn shifts the target upwards
or to the right.
When the desired zero position is set, loosen the retaining
screw (6 and 7) with a coin until the turret rises far enough
to expose the red O-ring (see picture-in-picture). Turn the
adjustment turret so that the zero mark matches the reference
mark on the turret base and secure with your fingers. Then
tighten the retaining screw again with a coin.
