Please Note!
Do not use the device on wet hair. The
hair must be at least towel-dried!
Keep the styling plates away from the
face, in particular the eyes. Also main-
tain a safe distance between the head
and styling plates of at least 3 – 5 cm.
L
We recommend that you use a
heat protection spray to protect
the hair from the heat. Do not use
any other styling products such as
hair spray, gel or mousse. These
may stick to the styling plates.
1. Before using the device, comb
through the hair with a standard hair
brush or comb to make sure there are
no knots in the hair.
2. Fully unwind the connecting cable and
connect the mains plug to an easily
accessible plug socket.
3. Hold down the On / Off switch for
approx. 5seconds to switch on the
device. The most recently set temper-
ature flashes on the display.
4. Set the temperature you want using
the buttons for selecting the tempera-

The information shown on the display
flashes during the heating process.
5. Wait a moment until the styling plates
have heated up. As soon as the infor-
mation on the display is constantly lit
up, they have reached the selected
temperature. You can now start using
the device.
6. Divide the hair into sections and
place between the styling plates and
proceed as follows depending on how
you want to style the hair:
Straighten – pull the hair through
straight.
Curl – rotate the device by 180° (gen-
tly wrap the hair around) and then pull
the hair through slowly.
Create locks rotate in the device by
360° (wrap the hair around) and then
pull the hair through slowly.
L
Do not hold the device in one
spot for too long; this can damage
the hair! Make sure that the styling
plates do not touch the scalp!
7. Repeat the process until the result is
satisfactory.
L
The thicker the hair, the more
frequently the process should be
repeated to get the result you
want.
8. Hold down the On / Off switch for
approx. 5seconds to switch off the
device. The information on the display
goes out.
L
The device automatically switches
off after 60 minutes.
9. Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket and allow the device to cool
down.
10. Allow the hair to cool and only then
finish styling it with styling products.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. These may damage
the surfaces.
1. Remove any hair if necessary from the
styling plates.
2. Wipe down the device with a soft,
damp cloth. More stubborn dirt can
be removed with a damp cloth and a
little mild detergent if necessary.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an elec-
trical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
Try another plug socket.
There is no mains voltage.
Check the fuse of the mains connec-
tion.
The overheating protection has been
triggered.
Pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket and allow the device to cool
down completely. Then try again.
The fuse in the fuse box is triggered.
Too many devices connected to the same
circuit.
Reduce the number of devices in the
circuit.
Smell produced
A smell often develops when new de-
vices are first used. The smell should
disappear once the device has been
used several times.
Steam produced
The device is being used on towel-dried
hair.
This is moisture evaporating from
your hair.
DISPOSAL
Dispose of the packaging material
in an environmentally friendly man-
ner so that it can be recycled.
The adjacent symbol (crossed-out
bin underlined) means that used
devices should not be disposed of
in the domestic waste, but should
instead be taken to special collec-
tion and return systems.
Owners of used devices from
private households can take them
free of charge to the collection
points of the public waste disposal
authorities or the disposal points
which are set up by manufacturers
and distributors under the Elec-
trical Equipment Act. Businesses
which market electrical and elec-
tronic devices are also obliged to
take back used devices.
Waste prevention makes an even more
valuable contribution to protecting the
environment. This means if possible,
as well as continuing to use or repair a
device yourself, passing it on to another
user also represents an ecologically bene-
ficial alternative to disposal.
