2. Attach the support bracket to the side panel using
the screws and hex key supplied with the kit (M3 hex
head screws and M2.5 hex key).
3. Attach the second amplifier bracket in the same way.
You now either attach rack brackets (for removable
installation) or attach the amplifier brackets to the rack
strip (for locked installation).
To attach the rack brackets
1. Fit the amplifier in the rack using the front panel rack
screws.
2. Temporarily hold one of the rack brackets on the rear
rack strip so that the holes in the bracket line up with
the slot in the amplifier bracket.
3. Make a note of the hole that is closest to the centre of
the slot in the amplifier bracket.
4. Remove the amplifier from the rack.
5. Fit the nylon bush to the hole you identified in step 3.
Use the M4x25 countersunk screw and M4 Nylok nut
supplied with the kit.
6. Fit the nylon bush to the same hole in the second
bracket.
7. Fit two cage nuts onto the rear rack strip at the
correct height to ensure that the rack brackets will
engage with the amplifier brackets.
8. Attach each bracket with two rack screws.
9. Fit the amplifier in the rack and check that the
amplifier bracket engages on the nylon bushes on
both sides, supporting the weight of the amplifier at
the rear.
10. Screw the amplifier to the rack using the four rack
mount holes in the front panel.
To attach the amplifier brackets to the
rack strip
1. Attach an amplifier bracket to the return on the rear
rack strip, as shown in the picture near the start of
this section. Use two standard rack cage nuts and
screws. If there is a gap between the bracket and rack
strip, use washers or spacers to close the gap; don't
close the gap by tightening the rack screws so that
the brackets bend.
2. Attach the second amplifier bracket in the same way.
