Vu-Net software
Martin Audio's Vu-Net software allows you to control and
monitor iKON amplifiers from a PC. To do this, connect
the amplifiers and PC using an Ethernet network and run
Vu-Net on the PC. Vu-Net also allows you to control and
monitor many Martin Audio loudspeaker systems.
Vu-Net is a Windows app available as a free download
from our website
martin-audio.com.
We don't support macOS, but we
know that some users run this app
successfully on virtual platforms such as
Parallels Desktop, VMware Fusion and
Apple Boot Camp Assistant.
To download Vu-Net
1. Visit our website martin-audio.com and select
Support > Software.
2. Scroll to the Vu-Net section and click DOWNLOAD

Performance logging
Vu‑Net (page 36) allows you to see graphs of performance
against time, recording events over a period of up to three
days. Breaks in the log due to power-downs are shown in
blue. The graphs show:
▪ Supply current (A) – How much current is being
supplied to the device via the mains inlet.
▪ Power systems: DC link voltage (V) – The voltage which
is derived from the mains supply voltage.
▪ Thermal management: Thermal capacity (%) – The
percentage of the available thermal capacity that has
been used.
▪ Output current: Driver current (A) – For each output,
the average current being delivered to the driver.
▪ Load impedance: Driver impedance (ohm) – For each
output, the average impedance of the driver.
▪ Global protection systems: Protection limiting (dB) –
For each output, the amount that the amplifier is
‘dimming’ itself in order to protect itself from potential
damage.
