Updating outputs
The output menu allows you to choose:
GAIN – see Output gain and polarity (page 24)
RECL – see Recall preset (page 24)
DRIV – see Drive load (page 24)
ROUT – see Output routing (page 25)
LIM – see Output VX limiter (page 25)
Tmax – see Output thermal limiter (page 25)
Xmax – see Output excursion limiter (page 26)
AMP – see Bridge mode (page 26)

Selecting the output channel
Press OUTPUT to select the ouput menu. The number at
top left shows the channel that you are editing and this
could be any of the output channels: 1, 2, 3 or 4.
Selecting output channels works in the same way as
selecting input channels; for details, see Selecting the
input channel (page 18). The only difference is that input
channels have letters (A, B, C and D) and output channels
have numbers.
Output gain and polarity
Use the GAIN menu item to adjust the output channel
gain and polarity.
To update gain and polarity
1. Press OUTPUT to select the channel. For details, see
Selecting the output channel (page 24).
2. GAIN usually appears top left. If not, press the down
arrow button several times until it does.
3. Rotate ADJUST (the right-hand dial) to choose the
gain (–40 to 20dB in 0.2 increments).
4. Rotate SELECT (the left-hand dial) to choose Pol and
rotate ADJUST (the right-hand dial) to choose Rev for
reverse polarity or
Norm for normal polarity.
5. Press
UTILITY to exit the menu or press OUTPUT
several times to step through the channels.
Recall preset
Use the output RECL menu item to recall a preset
to an output channel. The Comp parameter shows a
component number with the following format:
ModulePreset.ComponentNumber
For example, 3.2 is module preset 3 and component
number 2.
The preset name is shown to the right.
Note that the amplifier also has
input presets (page 18).
To recall a preset
1. Press OUTPUT to select the channel. For details, see
Selecting the output channel (page 24).
2. Press the down arrow buttonseveral times
untilRECLappears top left (usually one press).
3. RotateADJUST(the right-hand dial) to select a preset.
4. Press
ENTER to recall this preset.
5. Press ENTER to confirm or press the down arrow
button to cancel.
6. Press UTILITY to exit the menu or press OUTPUT
several times to step through the channels.
Drive load
Use the DRIV menu item to adjust the optimal drive level
for a given driver impedance. The screen also shows the
live measured impedance value under the heading Imp on
the right. If there is insufficient signal level to measure the
impedance, it displays 0.1 ohms.
To update the drive load
1. Press
OUTPUT to select the channel. For details, see
Selecting the output channel (page 24).
2. Press the down arrow buttonseveral times
untilDRIVappears top left (usually two presses).
