trical installations.
Remove the fuse or switch off the circuit breaker
(0 setting) in the fuse box prior to installation.
Never let the lamp come into contact with
water or other liquids.
Before installing, ensure that the available mains
voltage matches the operating voltage required
by the light (see “Technical data”).
Be sure not to damage any wires during
installation.
The LED lamp cannot be dimmed using an
external controller.
Prevent fire and
injury hazards
To prevent burns, ensure that the lamp has been
switched off and has cooled down before
touching it.
Do not mount the light to a damp or conductive
surface.
Do not leave the light or packaging material
lying unattended. Plastic films or bags, or plas-
tic parts etc. can turn into dangerous toys for
children.
Exposure to certain strobe lights or lighting
effects can cause epileptic seizures or uncon-
sciousness in some people. If you experience
symptoms of an epileptic seizure, seek immedi-
ate medical attention.
Install the light so it is protected from moisture,
dirt and extreme heat.
Before drilling, ensure that there are no gas or
water pipes or power cables where you intend
to drill. Installation may only be carried out by
experts. It is essential that you take note of how
the wall is constructed, as the included fittings
are not suitable for all types of wall. Ask a re-
tailer about screws and wall plugs suitable for
the respective wall structure.
The manufacturer assumes no liability for incor-
rect wall to wall plug connection and resulting
damages.
Always be alert! Always pay attention to what
you are doing and use common sense. Never
use the light if you are having difficulty concen-
trating or do not feel well.
Prior to installation, make sure that the installation
site is suitable to bear the weight of the lamp.
Familiarise yourself with all instructions and di-
agrams in this manual as well as with the light
itself before use.
Safety instructions for
batteries/rechargeable
batteries
DANGER TO LIFE! Keep batteries/recharge-
able batteries out of reach of children. If acci-
dentally swallowed seek immediate medical
attention.
Swallowing may lead to burns, perforation of
soft tissue, and death. Severe burns can occur
within 2 hours of ingestion.
DANGER OF EXPLOSION!
Never recharge non-rechargeable
batteries. Do not short-circuit batter-
ies/rechargeable batteries and/or open them.
Overheating, fire or bursting can be the result.
Never throw batteries/rechargeable batteries
into fire or water.
Do not exert mechanical loads to batteries/
rechargeable batteries.
Risk of leakage of batteries/rechargeable
batteries
Avoid extreme environmental conditions and tem-
peratures, which could affect batteries/recharge-
able batteries, e.g. radiators/direct sunlight.
If batteries/rechargeable batteries have leaked,
avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
