Limestone Pipe Clogged

When the limestone pipe is clogged, the entire system is

automatically switched off.

To clear a clogged limestone pipe, proceed as follows:

1. Make sure the fan of the connected filter system is running

(System Control Panel ON).

2. Open the limestone refill lid for several seconds and close it again.

3. Repeat if necessary (max. 3 times).

By opening the refill lid the airflow driven by the booster fan is

increased. By closing it, the limestone obstruction may clear on it’s

own due to the change in pressure. If not, proceed to Step 4.

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to

avoid injury. This also applies to persons who

enter the work area.

Use a container or similar to capture released limestone.

For steps 4-8, see Figure 35.

4. Remove the back panel of the Limestone Feeder (B).

5. Remove the hoses and cap (C). Shake them out.

6. Tap on the vertical duct (A) to release residual limestone, if any.

7. Reassemble machine.

8. Restart System Control Panel (AUTO START).

NOTE: Store the limestone in a cool dry place to prevent it from hardening and

leading to higher service frequency.

Motor Failure

A motor failure is often caused and activated by the thermal

protection of one of the internal motors or the booster fan and must

be serviced by an authorized Lincoln Electric Service Technician.

Disposal

After life of the product, dispose of it in accordance with federal, state

or local regulations.
