If for any reason you do not understand the test procedures or are unable to perform the tests/repairs safely, contact your

Lincoln Authorized Service Facility for technical troubleshooting assistance before you proceed.

TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE

PROBLEMS / SYMPTOM(S) POSSIBLE CAUSE(S) RECOMMENDED COURSE(S) OF ACTION

FAN DOES NOT FUNCTION.

No input voltage.

Loose connections. If all recommended possible areas of misadjustment have been

checked and the problem persists, Contact the Lincoln Electric

Automation Department at 1-888-935-3878.

Motor is faulty.

MOTOR MAKES A HUMMING

SOUND BUT DOES NOT RUN.

Motor is faulty.

Limestone refill lid is open.

NO / POOR SUCTION.

Obstruction in the vertical duct.

Pressure switch may be faulty.

Limestone reservor is empty.

FAN VIBRATES

Dirty fan blades.

Fan is out of balance. Check

for physical damage.

FAN WILL NOT RUN AFTER

PRESSING TEST.

No negative pressure present.

The connected filter system is

OFF.
