Limestone Level Low

The indicator “limestone level” low is activated when approx. 55 lbs

(25 kg) of limestone is left in the reservoir. The limestone reservoir

has a capacity of 18.5 gallon (70 liters), which is equal to 165 lbs (75

kg) of limestone.

To enable dust-free limestone refill, the Oil Guardian is equipped with

a rim extraction device which is located under the top cover. As soon

as the limestone refill lid is opened, the agitator mechanisms as well

as the screw conveyor will stop turning. The fan of the connected

extraction system must always be running during limestone refill.

Use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to

avoid injury. This also applies to persons who

enter the work area.

When filling limestone, make sure the fan of the connected

extraction system is running to activate rim extraction.

To fill the limestone reservoir, proceed as follows:

For steps 2-8, see Figure 34.

1. Turn ON the main switch on the Oil Guardian.

2. Fully open the limestone refill lid (A).

3. Place a 55 lb. (25 kg) limestone bag on the top cover.

4. Cut open the bottom of the bag (B).

5. Slowly lift the bag to a vertical position and empty it.

6. Gently roll up the bag from the top and throw it away (C).

7. Repeat the above procedure with two more 55 lb. (25 kg) bags of

limestone.

8. Close the refill lid (D).

9. Press the test/reset button.

10. Restart system control panel (auto start).

Prevent objects from falling into the limestone reservoir.

Should this happen, it must be removed immediately to

prevent damage to the agitator mechanisms and/or screw

conveyor. Remove input power first.

NOTE: Attach the knife you are using to a piece of rope or wristband to prevent

it from falling in the limestone reservoir.
