Wire Connection

The booster fan must be grounded through the pre-installed ground

wire. Both the booster fan and the external pressure switch must be

grounded.

For steps 1-4, see Figure 12.

1. Loosen one side of the ground wire (A).

2. Using the screw from the previous step, fasten the ground wire to

the booster fan (B).

3. Feed a connection wire (C) through the cable gland at the bottom

of the fan support and mount it to the booster fan.

4. Feed a connection wire (D) through the cable gland of the pressure

switch.

For steps 5-6, see Figure 13.

5. Mount the connection wire (See Figure A.11, item D) as NO (nor-

mally open) to the pressure switch: connection 2+3 (A).

6. Set the pressure switch at 0.5 mbar (B).

Local regulations may require an additional main switch to

turn off the booster fan in case of service, maintenance or

repair.

PVC Pressure Tube

The limestone feeder is provided with an integrated pressure switch.

An external pressure switch has been mounted inside the fan support

(See Figure 6). A PVC pressure tube must be connected between the

external pressure switch and the main duct.

For the correct mounting position of the pressure tube. See Figure 11.

NOTE: To avoid malfunction, make sure the pressure tube is securely

mounted:

• Outside the limestone flow, at min. 20 in. (500 mm)

distance from the pressure switch.

• On top of the main duct.

For steps 1-3, see Figure 14.

1. Connect the pressure tube (C) to – (‘minus’) of the external pressure

switch (D).

2. Drill a hole Ø 0.3 in. (8 mm) (A) on top of the main duct.

3. Connect the other side of the pressure tube to the main duct using

the supplied duct mounting material (B).
