INSTALLATION

1. Using the two screws provided, mount the main switch housing.

2. Place the unit in an appropriate location. See Figure 3.

3. If necessary: use the adjustable feet to make the unit level. To

stabilize the unit, the nuts on the feet must be security tightened.

Extend the adjustable feet far enough (1.8-3.2 in./45-80 mm)

to make the unit portable by a pallet jack or fork-lift for

service purposes.

The supplied protection bracket must be installed for safety reasons.

Neglecting to install the protection bracket can lead to

serious personal injury.

To mount the protection bracket, proceed as follows: See Figure 4.

1. Fully open the limestone refill lid (A).

2. Place the protection bracket under the refill lid (B).

3. Attach the protection bracket to the slits (C).

4. Close the refill lid.

Make sure to mount the fan support in a level position to

avoid imbalance of the booster fan.

Fan Support

The fan support is used for the mounting of the booster fan to the

main duct and mounting of the external pressure switch.

For steps 1-3, see Figure 5.

1. Drill a hole Ø 6.3 in. (160 mm) (B1+B2) in the main duct.

2. Install the duct support material (C). Take the size of the bolts (D &

E) into account, since they will be used to attach the fan support.

3. Secure the saddle piece (A) to the main duct.

For steps 4-6, see Figure 6.

4. Using the fitting cable gland (C), mount the pressure switch (A) on

the bottom of the fan support.

5. Install the other cable gland (B) directly on the bottom of the fan

support.

The fan support can be mounted in two ways; by cables attached to

the four eye bolts or by threaded rods inserted through the holes next

to the eye bolts.

6. Using either the eye bolts (A) or the threaded rods (B), secure the

fan support. See Figure 7.
