RESTRICTIONS

• Avoid any bends in the vertical duct between the

Oil Guardian and the main duct.

• Do not position the unit where it is exposed to

vibrations or shocks.

TOOLS AND REQUIREMENTS

The following tools and requirements are needed to

install the Oil Guardian:

• Lifting equipment (fork-lift, pallet jack)

• Level

• Vertical duct: smooth duct Ø 2-2.5 in. (50-63 mm) (connects

Oil Guardian to main duct)

• Duct connection material (sheet metal screws, duct tape)

• Sheet metal screws for mounting of pressure switch to main duct

• Key (to open/close control box)

• Heat gun

Connection wires + plugs:

• 14 AWG (4G1.5 mm²) with neoprene outer shield

• 20 AWG (2 x 0.5 mm²) with PVC outer shield; 194°F (90°C)/300V

(from Oil Guardian to System Control Panel)

• 20 AWG (2 x 0.5 mm²) with PVC outer shield; 194°F (90°C)/300V

(from Oil Guardian to pressure switch)

• Power plug

In case of optional external light tower:

• Connection wire 20 AWG (4 x 0.5 mm²) with PVC

outer shield; 194°F (90°C)/300V (from Oil Guardian to light tower)

UNPACKING

Check that the product is complete. The product is shipped in three

packages and each should contain:

Package 1:

• Fan support including ground wire

• Inlet adapter

• Vibration damper (4)

• Bolt M8 (4)

• Washer (4)

• Pressure switch

• PVC pressure tube 40 in. (1000 mm) including duct mounting

material

• Cable gland M20 x 1.5

• Cable gland PG11

• Nut

• Hose 6.3 in. (160 mm)

• Hose clamp (2)

• Self-tapping screw (3)

Package 2:

• Booster fan

Package 3:

• Limestone feeder

• Main switch housing, including 2 screws

• Transparent hose 20 in. (500 mm), inner Ø 2 in.

(50 mm)

• Heat shrink tubing 6 in. (150 mm)

• Hose clamp

• Key (to open/close control box)

• Protection bracket
