Installation Instructions
Room Ventilation
The air for combustion is taken from the room air.
The exhaust gases are emitted directly into the room.
• Good room ventilation is essential for safe operation
of this appliance.
• If there is no window or door available, extra
ventilation must be installed.
• Do not install this appliance in a room below ground
level on at least one side.
• Failure to install this appliance correctly is dangerous
and could result in prosecution.
• Any adjustable grille.
• Louvre.
• Hinged panel.
• Any other means of ventilation that opens directly to the outside air.
(A) Alternative acceptable forms of opening
The list below is in addition to the permanent ventilation requirement.
(B) Where there isn't an window opening to the outside
(C) If the installation room has a door opening to the outside
If the room where the appliance is being installed has a door which opens directly to the outside, no
permanent opening is required.
• Where no opening window direct to outside is available, other products should be sought.
• Building regulations advice should be followed.
