Gas Safety
A gas pressure drop test (gas soundness / tightness test) on the respective gas meter should be performed
in accordance with relative gas safe standards by a registered gas safe engineer, to ensure there is an
acceptable leakage rate in the full system. If this test highlights an unacceptable leakage rate, then further
investigation into the source of the leak must be carried out and resolved.
