Connection procedure:
• Connect the BLUE wire to the terminal
marked ‘N’ or coloured ‘BLACK’.
• Connect the BROWN wire to the terminal
marked ‘L’ or coloured RED.
• Connect the GREEN/YELLOW earth wire to the
terminal marked with the Earth symbol.
Electrical connection
Before proceeding ensure that the electricity supply is switched OFF. Keep in mind the following instructions
for a secure and permanent installation of your hob.
Power supply connection:
• Connect the appliance to fixed wiring using a double pole switched fused spur outlet with a minimum
contact separation of 3mm.
• The isolation switch should remain accessible after installation (refer to technical data for fuse rating).
• For additional safety, we recommend the use of an RCD device.
Professional installation:
• Only a qualified professional should carry out the installation in compliance with all local regulations.
Double pole switching:
• The term DOUBLE POLE -/+ indicates that both the live and neutral supplies are switched and
disconnected simultaneously.
Terminology:
• Connections labelled SUPPLY pertain to the internal house wiring.
• Connections labelled LOAD are for linking to the appliance.

Wire identification:
• Mains lead wires are colour-coded as follows:
• BLUE = Neutral
• BROWN = Live
• GREEN / YELLOW = Earth
Mains lead handling:
• Ensure the mains lead is not clamped, bent, trapped, or in contact with hot parts of the appliance.
• If the mains lead is damaged, replacement must be done by a qualified professional (the mains cable
should not exceed 2m for safety reasons).
• Route the mains lead away from the appliance, preventing it from being trapped between the appliance
and the wall.
By adhering to these guidelines, you ensure the safe and proper functioning of your hob’s electrical
connections.
