Burner cap

Angled
The burner caps and heads must be positioned
correctly so that they sit squarly onto the hob as
shown. Failure to do so may result in discolouration
of the stainless steel surrounding the burners.
WARNING
Parallel
Wrongly placed burner heads or caps will
result in poor ignition or uneven flames.
Small, medium and large burners:
• Match the burner caps to the burners by size.
• Incorrectly placed burner heads or caps will
result in poor ignition or uneven flames.
All flames need to be visually checked to determine their flame quality.
Soft blue flames:
Normal for natural gas operation.
Yellow flames:
Abnormal for any gas operation.
Call for service, immediately.
Yellow tips on outer cones:
Normal for LP gas operation.
Installing the burners
Caution
• Do not operate the burners without all burner parts in place.
• Be careful not to push in any controls while removing a burner. Electrical shock may result.
• Do not touch the electrode of any burner while another burner is turned on. Electrical shock may result.
• Ensure the burner head slot lines up with the igniter.
• Make sure the burner head lies flat on the gas hob.
