INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
• When using the Electric Carving Knife for the rst time you may notice a slight
burning smell. This is normal for a new electrical appliance and will disappear after a
few uses.
• Place the food to be cut on a dry, level chopping board surface.
• CAUTION: The blades are very sharp. Care must be taken when handling the blades.
• Plug-in and switch on at the socket. Hold the main unit by the handle. Place the
Electric Carving Knife directly on the food to be cut.
• Press the power safety button forwards, then press the Power on button located on
the bottom side of the handle and the blades will begin to slice.
• When you have nished cutting, to stop the Electric Carving Knife, release your ngers
from power on button and power safety button and the knife will stop working.
• DO NOT operate with wet hands.
• Use the carving knife in short bursts and DO NOT operate continuously for more than
2 minutes.
• Unplug from electrical socket before you remove the cutting blades.
HINTS AND TIPS
• DO NOT use the carving knife to cut frozen food.
• DO NOT use the carving knife to cut very hard food products, such as bones, shelled
nuts, frozen meats etc., as this could damage the blade and cause the motor to seize.
