CARE AND CLEANING
• Switch off and unplug the appliance before cleaning.
• Clean thoroughly before using for the rst time and after every use.
• Remove the blades from the main unit before washing. Slide the blade with a rivet
along the slot in order to separate the two blades.
• Check the parts for wear or damage after every few uses.
• Do not use abrasive cleaners, or steel wool.
• Never immerse the main unit in water or any other liquid.
• For the main unit, wipe with a clean-damp cloth and dry thoroughly before storing.
• Hand wash the blades in warm, soapy water, rinse and dry thoroughly before storing.
• CAUTION: The blades are very sharp. Care must be taken when handling the blades
and during cleaning.
• Store the carving knife and blades in a cool, dry place with the power cable loosely
coiled. Never wrap it tightly around the carving knife.
• Protect the blades, by placing in the blade covers.
