Supported Devices
The following user devices are supported by the VIA Campus2/ VIA Campus2PLUS
Presentation & Collaboration Solution (For Firmware Version 4.0):
• Windows 8/10/11
®
(32-bit/64-bit) computer.
• Macintosh
®
computer, using OSX 10.12.x or newer.
• Chromebook.
• iPad/iPhone
®
tablet/smartphone (iPad 2 or later, iOS 12 or later).
When using the Airplay service, no Kramer VIA application is needed. However, we
recommend using iOS12, Mojave OS X, or higher, for a better experience.
Android
®
OS 5. x tablet/smartphone or newer.
The minimum system requirement for using the Kramer VIA mirroring feature for
an Android device is Android 5.1.
VIA 4.1 - Independent VIA-Client Configuration:
• VIA Windows/Mac are going to be separated from gateway. It means that new features
can be added without having to tweak the gateway settings. This change will make your
experience with VIA smoother and more reliable. It is there in all desktop applications in
modern SW deployments (example – Notepad++, Chrome etc.)
• Clients download and installation will still be a part of gateway version but not limited to
that.
• Client will support backward compatibility.
• The change will start from 4.1 onwards.
• This is available with Android/OS Via application.
