4. For Installer:
Mounting KC-Virtual Brain 5
This section provides instructions for mounting KC-Virtual Brain 5 . Before installing, verify that the
environment is within the recommended range:
•
Operation temperature – 0° to 40°C (32 to 104°F).
•
Storage temperature – -40° to +70°C (-40 to +158°F).
•
Humidity – 10% to 90%, RHL non-condensing.
4.1.1 Caution:
•
Mount KC-Virtual Brain 5 before connecting any cables or power.
4.1.2 Warning:
•
Ensure that the environment (e.g., maximum ambient temperature & air flow) is
compatible for the device.
•
Avoid uneven mechanical loading.
•
Appropriate consideration of equipment nameplate ratings should be used for
avoiding overloading of the circuits.
•
Reliable earthing of rack-mounted equipment should be maintained.
4.1.3 To mount KC-Virtual Brain 5 on a rack:
Mount the unit in a rack using the recommended rack adapter (see
http://www.kramerav.com/product/KC-Virtual Brain1).
4.1.4 You can also install KC-Virtual Brain 5 using the following method:
