PIZZA STONE*
The stone retains the heat for a long
time, transfers it evenly to the dough
and absorbs the moisture. The pas-
try whis has been baked on the
stone is airy and has a crispy crust.
Place the stone on the grill grate
in the middle or lower levels. Do
not place the cold stone on the
hot
grate.
Choose the pizza program (up-
per and lower heating element +
hot air) if you prefer no other
program. Set the maximum tem-
perature.
Preheat the oven with the stone.
The warm-up time depends on
the initial temperature of the in-
ner chamber and the kitchen
temperature.
For easy removal of the baking
from the stone and a crunchy
pastry, you can pour some flour
(corn, rice, wheat or rye whole
grain) on the stone.
Place the baked goods on the
stone.
Bake until ready and follow the
common sence and instructions
on the packaging of ready
meals.
Leave the stone on the grid until
it cools completely.
Use a spatula to clean the lefto-
vers from the stone surface.
The remaining oil helps to pre-
serve the stone and form a pro-
tective film.
Do not use dishwashing deter-
gent. Wash the pizza stone with
water, avoid prolonged contact
with water.
After cleaning, place the stone
back in the oven and cook other
dishes with it. It brings in the ef-
fect of a stone oven.
