(5) Adjustment to eliminate right and left rattling in the upper feed roller
If there is a lateral play in upper feed roller

, loosen setscrews

and adjust so that roller bar guide plate

held with right and left guide plates

(4) Adjustment of parallelism between upper feed roller and feed dog
Loosen setscrews

. Turning pressing shaft

clockwise or counterclockwise, check to be sure that an equal clearance is
provided between upper feed roller

and the front, rear, right and left sides of feed dog

. Then, tighten setscrews

is positioned at the highest level.
(3) Clearance adjustment between upper feed roller and throat plate

4) In the state as seen from behind, confi rm that the front and rear right/left clearances on the right side of the upper
feed roller

are uniformly maintained in conjunction with the feed dog
