Requirements:
ü The device is integrated into the project.
ü The process data is configured.
u In the [Solution Explorer]: Under [SYSTEM] > [Tasks] declare all required variables of the
appropriate type.
u Link the symbol nodes of the digital input channels with the declared variables.
w The user can access the digital input data in the application via the variables.
9.2.9 Reading counter values
The current counter values are transmitted in the cyclic process data of the Counter 1...Counter 8
modules.

The current data values can only be accessed via the process data objects (TxPDO).
When configuring the process data, symbol nodes are automatically created for the counter values of
all enabled counter modules:
