u Before connecting the connector, check that there is an undamaged O-ring in the socket.
u Observe the coding of the connectors during installation.
u Provide all outgoing cables with suitable strain relief after a maximum of 400mm. Observe the
minimum bending radius of the cables (Ò information from the cable manufacturer).
u Cover unused connections with protective covers. Tightening torque: 1.3 ± 0.1Nm
u Check the screw connection 2 weeks after installation and retighten to the correct torque if
necessary.
6.3 Fieldbus ports
The device is connected to the fieldbus network via ports XF1, XF2, e.g. fieldbus controller or
additional fieldbus device.

u Connect the device to the IT fieldbus via the ports XF1, XF2.
u For connection, use M12 connectors (minimum protection rating: IP65 / IP66 / IP67).
u Tighten the cable plug using 1.3 ± 0.1Nm.
6.4 IIoT ports
The device is connected IT network via the ports XI1, XI2.

u Connect the device to the IT network via the ports XI1, XI2.
u For connection, use M12 connectors (minimum protection rating: IP65 / IP66 / IP67).
u Tighten the cable plug using 1.3 ± 0.1Nm.
6.5 IO-Link ports (class B)
IO-Link devices (sensors, actuators) are connected to the ports X1...X4.
The IO-Link ports meet the requirements of IO-Link specification 1.1.4.
• The connected IO-Link devices may only be supplied via the corresponding ports.
• The ports each have an additional digital output (utilisation category DC-13 according to standard
IEC 60947-5-1, 20 W.).
u Observe the maximum current rating of the supply voltages US and UA: Ò Technical data
The ports are equipped with short-circuit detection (US).
The ports have voltage peak and overvoltage protection.
