4.3 Visual indication
The device displays the following indications:
• Status and error display of the device
• Status and error display of the active fieldbus gateway
• Status and activity indication of the Ethernet connections
• Status of the voltage supplies US and UA
• Status and activity display of the IIoT connection
• Status and error indication of the IO-Link ports (class A)
• Status and error indication of the IO-Link ports (class B)
4.4 IIoT interface
The IIoT interface is used to integrate the device into the Operational Technology (OT) level and
Informational Technology (IT) level.
The IIoT interface is realised with a 2-port switch (ports XI1 and XI2). Ports XI1 and XI2 operate in
bridge mode (network bridge).
The IIoT interface supports the following methods for IP configuration (IPv4):
• static (manual configuration)
• DHCP (automatic configuration)
• APIPA - Link-local (automatic addressing)
The IIoT interface supports the following protocols:
• Transmission Control Protocol / Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)
• Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP)
• Hyptertext Transfer Protocol Secure (HTTPS)
• Message Queueing Telemetry Transport (MQTT)
• Message Queueing Telemetry Transport Secure (MQTTS)
• Websockets (WS)
4.5 Fieldbus interface
The device is integrated into a higher-level fieldbus level via the fieldbus interface.
The fieldbus interface is realised with a 2-port switch (ports XF1 and XF2).
The fieldbus interface supports several fieldbus types (multiprotocol).
Supported fieldbus types:
• PROFINET (Ò/13)
• EtherNet/IP (Ò/14)
