NOTE! Due to manufacturing residues, the appliance may emit
a light odor during the first few uses. This is normal and does
not indicate any defect or hazard. Make sure the appliance is
well ventilated. It is recommended to run an empty cycle for
40/50 minutes at a temperature of 220/230°C. In this way all
unpleasant yet fully normal smells due to heating the thermal
insulation enveloping the cooking chamber and the silicone
used for its external sealing are dissipated.
Operating instructions
• ATTENTION! Avoid prolonged permanence on the steel sur-
faces of foods containing acidic substances (lemon juice, vin-
egar, salt, etc.) which cause corrosion deterioration.
• Preheat the appliance every time before cooking to achieve
top performance.
• Avoid adding salt to food in the cooking chamber.
BASIC operating
• For switching the appliance on (after conecting to electric
power supply) set the button to “ON” position. Button is place
on the left side of the appliance under the base (Fig.2A on
page 4) and is marked on the lef side of casing (Fig.2B). First
-
ly display will shows computer codes, then Date, Time, and
the symbol ON/OFF (Fig.1.11) will by lights up in blue.Touch
-
ing ON/OFF the symbol will lights up in white all operating
parameters which can be set.
• To choose any function or change operating parameter value
touch desire icon or digit. To increase or decrease the val
-
ue of parameter touch icon “+” or “-” (Fig.1.8-9) - To quicker
changing value touch icon and hold. To save new value touch
digit or the the symbol START/STOP (Fig.1.10).
NOTE: If operating parameter will not save in 5 second, display
will return to main view and value will not save.
• To activate stand-by mode touch the symbol ON/OFF and
hold few second. To reactivate screen, touch the symbol ON/
OFF again. Stand-by mode also will activate automatically if
appliance will not operate more than 10 minutes, after that
acoustic warning (beep) will emitted and opearting parame
-
ters the symbols will light off. After next 10 minute only the
symbol ON/OFF will be light up.
• Date and time can be set only in Stand-by mode . Touch the
digits correspond to date and time (Fig.1.30). To modify value
touch the symbols “+” or “-”; to save parameter and go to
next one touch the symbol START/STOP. To exit the setting
mode touch digit related to “Date and Time”. Display will re
-
turn to stand-by mode.
PRE-HEATING settings
• To activate pre-heating function touch the symbol
(Fig.1.1). The symbol will light up. To disable function touch
the symbol again.
• Default value will display 40°C. To change temperature use
the symbols “+” or “-”. You can set from 10°C to 150°C (in
10° intervals). Pre-heating value is always add to main tem
-
perature (for example if temperature will be set on 180°C
and pre-heating on 50°C, temperature in chamber will reach
230°C).
• Reached temperature will be informed by acoustic signal.
NOTE: This function can not be used with delayed start func
-
tion. Pre-heating temperature can not exceed 270°C (in sume).
TIME settings
• Touch on screen digits corresponding to hours or minutes
(Fig.1.27-28). Change value by touching the the symbols “+”
or “-”. To save value touch again digits or the symbol START/
STOP. Time can be also change if cycle is already active.
• During cycle display will show alternately time setted for
active step and total time remaining for whole cycle (count
-
down).
• If Infinite time was set, display will show alternately code
“InF” and elapsed time.
CYCLE STEPS setting
• To add next step in cycle, after setting desire values of oper
-
ating parameters for first step (Phase 1), touch digit corre-
sponds to number of steps (Fig.1.29) and touch the symbol
“+”, new step will be add (Phase 2) and all operating param
-
eters will be able to set.
• Next steps can be added like described above (Phase 3,
Phase 4, etc). Maximum can be set 10 steps.
• During cycle display will show alternately active step number
and amount of all steps.
TEMPERATURE settings
• Touch the digits correspond to temperature (Fig.1.24) and set
value touching the symbols the symbols “+” or “-”. To save
value touch digits agains or touch the symbol START/STOP.
Temperature can be also change if cycle is already active.
• During cycle display will show alternately set temperature
for active step and current temperature measured inside
chamber.
CORE TEMPERATURE and ΔT VALUE settings
• To set core tempearure touch the symbol
(Fig.1.20); dis-
play will show default value 50°C. To change value touch the
symbols “+” or “-”. To save touch the symbol START/STOP.
• During cycle display will show alternately core temperature
setted for active step and current core temperature meas
-
ured by core probe.
• To set ΔT value touch the symbol ΔT (Fig.1.21); display will
show the symbol and default value 50°C. Change value by
touching the symbols “+” or “-” and save value by touching
the symbol START/STOP. At the same time display will show
core temperature default value. Change and save core tem
-
perature value as described above.
• During cycle, if ΔT value was setted, display will show current
core temperature measured by core probe. Setted ΔT value
or core temperature can be show by touching corresponding
the symbols.
• Core temperature or/and ΔT value can be also change if cycle
is already active.
NOTE: If core temperature or/and ΔT are setted, time setting
is exluded. Cycle/current step (if more than 1) end until setted
core temperature is reached.
ATTENTION: During this setting core probe is used inside food.
Avoid contact it with bones. Probe cable must pass through
door gasket at the bottom. If cycle is setted without above pa
-
rameters, core probe must be placed in specific socket. If not,
acoustic alarm will activates and display will shows error.
HUMIDIFICATION / STEAM settings
• Touch digits related to the symbol
(if is not set there is
“oFF” instead of digits - Fig.1.22). Change value by touching
