HOLD button / backlight
• Press the HOLD button to freeze the cur-
rently displayed value.
• Press and hold the button to switch the
backlight on or off.
Auto Power off
• After about 15 minutes, the
current
clamp meter
switches off automatically
to conserve battery life.
Transducer clamp jaws
• Record the current flowing through the
conductor.
• Look for the marking on the current jaws
to determine the current direction
(DC measurement only).
• Open the pliers jaws, enclose a con

ductor and make sure that the jaws
are closed correctly and that there are
no foreign bodies in the connection
gap.
