Installing the oven
The oven is designed for installation in
standard kitchen units. It can be installed in
a tall cupboard and underneath the work-
top.
The following conditions must be observed:
– Do not install the oven directly next to a
refrigerator or freezer. This will increase
its energy consumption unnecessarily
due to heat dissipation.
– The best place is next to the sink. They
have an additional storage area and
dirty dishes can be cleaned immediately.
– Before installation, check whether the
appliance dimensions are compatible
with your furniture dimensions.
– If necessary, your built-in furniture must
be reworked accordingly. If you have no
manual skills, you should hire a profes-
sional.
– For built-in furniture, veneers or plastic
coverings must be processed with heat-
resistant adhesive (at least 100 °C). If
the adhesive and surfaces are not heat-
resistant, the covering may warp and
come loose.
– If a drawer is placed underneath the
oven, an intermediate base is required.
– The installation recess may not have a
rear panel, at the most it may have an
add-on edge measuring no more than
50 mm.
– The built-in cupboard can be optionally
equipped with strips or an intermediate
base with a ventilation cutout.
