charging; this is entirely normal.
WARNING! Do not exceed the maximum charging time
of 8 hours, as there is a risk of overheating! We recommend
connecting the charger to a timer.
1. Insert the charging cable connector into the charging port of
the device (see #2) and then connect the charger to the power
source.
2. The charge status LED shows the charging progress. The
indicator lights up red during charging.
3. When charging is complete, the charge status LED light will
turn green.
NOTE: We recommend fully charging the device after having
not used it for an extended period of time.
Commissioning & safety lock switch
The safety lock switch is designed to prevent accidental operation
and to lock the device.
To release the lock, press the safety lock switch on one side
of the handle, and simultaneously press the on/off button. The
device is now in operation.
When you release the on/off button, the device will lock again
and must be unlocked once more as described above for further
operation.
REMOVING AND INSTALLING THE BLADE
IMPORTANT! Before removing the blade, make sure the
device is unplugged.
1. Hold the blade firmly in place using flat-nose pliers, unscrew
the fixing screw anti-clockwise using a flat-nose screwdriver
(not included) of the appropriate width, and remove the screw.
(see #3)
2. Slide the blade away from the blade guard and remove it. (see
#4)
3. Now slide the new blade under the blade guard with the
beveled edges facing toward you.
4. Align the hole in the blade with the mounting hole and the
mounting pins, insert the screw, and tighten the mounting
screw clockwise until hand-tight. (see #5)

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
• Only ever clean the housing using a damp cloth. Do not use
solvents! Then dry it thoroughly.
• To maintain battery capacity, we recommend fully discharging
and recharging the battery every two months.
• Only store the battery in a fully charged state, and replenish
the charge from time to time. The device should be stored in a
dry and frost-free place.

• Avant d‘utiliser l‘appareil, contrôlez s‘il présent des défauts
afin d‘assurer qu‘il fonctionne de manière irréprochable
et qu‘il remplit sa fonction prévue. Contrôlez si la vis
de fixation de la lame est serrée ; si ce n‘est pas le cas,
serrez-la.
• Ne touchez pas la lame à mains nues après l‘utilisation.
Une fois le travail terminé, la lame peut être extrêmement
chaude.
