4. Insert the ice cube container (7) into the
device.
5. Flip the lid shut.
USE
Please Note!
■ Check the device and the connecting ca-
ble for damage each time before putting
it into operation. The device should only
be used when it is undamaged and in
working order.
■ Only connect the device to a plug socket
that matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so that
the connection to the mains can quickly
be isolated.
■ Lay the connecting cable so that it is not
squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges
and does not come into contact with
hot surfaces.
IMPORTANT! The cooling system of the
device is operated by a compressor (4). It is
normal for the compressor and the cooling
liquid in the refrigerant circuit to make noises.
1. Completely unwind the connecting
cable and plug it into a plug socket.
Thesymbol L(12) flashes.
2. Switch on the device and start making the
ice cubes: Briefly press the ON / OFF
button (15).
3. If necessary, change the ice cube size.
To do this, briefly press the SELECT
button (14).
The device initially pumps the water into
the cooling chamber to the cooling rods
and then starts making the ice cubes.
• The device keeps operating until ...
○ the ice cube container(7) is full
( symbol Ice Full(13) lights up);
○ the water tank(2) is empty
(symbol
Add Water(11)
lights up);
○ the production process is stopped by
pressing the
ON / OFF button.
• Once the ice cube container is emptied,
the Ice Full symbol goes out. The
device automatically starts the produc-
tion process again.
• After the water tank has been refilled,
the Add Water symbol goes out. The
production process will not continue
automatically.
If you want to make more ice cubes,
briefly press the ON / OFF button
2times.
4. Switch off the device and stop making
ice cubes: Briefly press the ON / OFF
button.
5. If the device is no longer going to be
used, pull the mains plug out of the plug
socket.
6. After every use drain any remaining
water from the device (see the “Cleaning
and Storage” chapter).
Safe storage of water/ ice cubes
To avoid contamination of water/ ice cubes,
follow the instructions below:
■ Leaving the lid open for a long period of
time may cause a significant increase in
temperature inside the device.
■ Regularly clean surfaces that may come
into contact with water/ ice cubes and
accessible drainage systems.
■ Clean the water tank if it has not been
used for 48 hours; flush the water
system if no water/ ice cubes have been
taken for 5 days.
■ If the cooling / refrigeration device is left
empty for a long period of time, switch
off the device, defrost it, clean it and leave
the lid open to avoid mold formation.
