7.3 Error messages, troubleshooting, rounding
Error messages
There are different reasons for error messages. They
appear, e.g. if the calculation operation is too large or if
incorrect entries were made.
Error display Cause
Math
ERROR
The result, a sub-total or value in the
memory is larger than 9.999999999 x
1099
Math
ERROR
An attempt is being made to enter a
function that is greater than the
maximum input option.
Math
ERROR
Entry of an incorrect operation during a
statistical calculation. E.g. if x is to be
determined without data input.
Stack
ERROR
If the number memory (10 values) or
command memory (24 values) are full.
Syntax
ERROR
Incorrect entry, e.g. 5xx3=
A calculation cannot be performed as long as the error
message is displayed.
If you do not want to search for the error, press AC and
re-enter the data.
