Pull the spring-loaded latch (D-2) outwards
and remove the radio from the storage
box.
Switching on and off (see figure E)
To switch on
■
Press the On/Off knob (15) and hold for 1
second. The radio will switch on and the
display will show "Welcome FLEX” and
after 1 second will shift to DAB or the last
operation mode.
To switch off
■
Press the On/Off knob (15) and hold for 2
seconds. The display will show “power off”
and the radio will switch off.
■
The USB devices cannot be charged while
the radio is switched off.
Standby mode (see figure F)
■
When the radio is on, briefly press the On/
Off knob (15) and the radio will switch to
standby mode.
■
When the radio is in standby mode, USB
devices can be charged. The display will
continue showing the time and date,
but the display brightness will dim after
30 seconds and the radio will turn off
automatically after 60 minutes of inactivity.
■
Briefly press the On/Off knob (15) to return
to full operating mode.
Setting the time (see figure G)
In any mode, press the CLOCK button (14) to
set the time. The numbers blink in this order:
hour> minute> month> date> year.

Press the
or button or rotate the
volume knob (15) to change each value.
■
Press the play/pause button (17) to switch
to the next setting.
■
If you don’t press it again and don’t press
any other button for 10 seconds, the
procedure is interrupted and the changes
you have made are discarded.
When the radio is turned on, it automatically
enters DAB mode and adjusts the time.
Setting the volume (see figure H)
The radio features 16 volume levels.
■
To increase the volume, rotate the volume
knob clockwise (+).
■
To reduce it, rotate the volume knob
counterclockwise (-).
■
Briefly press the mute button (16) to mute
the sound. Briefly press mute button (16)
again or rotate the volume knob (15) to
unmute the sound.
Setting equalizer (see figure I)
■
In any mode, briefly press the EQ button (8)
to first adjust the bass.
■
Press the
or button or the volume
knob to adjust the bass range from -5 to
+5.
■
Briefly press the EQ button (8) again to
adjust the treble.
■
Press the
or button or the volume
knob (15) to adjust the treble range from
-5 to +5.
■
Without operation after 2 seconds or press
the EQ button (8) to exit the equalizer
menu.
Selecting the operating mode
(see figure J)
Briefly press the MODE button (9) for
selecting the operating mode until the
desired mode is displayed.
■
DAB: Digital audio broadcasting
■
FM: Radio reception
■
BT: Playback of audio connected via
Bluetooth®
■
AUX: Playback of audio connected via AUX
cable
Setting DAB (see figure K1-K2)
In DAB mode, if no buttons are pressed, the
radio is in normal DAB playback state.
Manual tuning: Briefly press the
or
button to reach the desired frequency. The
frequency is shown on the display.
Automatic/scan tuning: Press the
or
button for 3 seconds, the tuner will
automatically seek the radio station with
strong signal and stop at that station’s
frequency. After the search is completed, the
first searched radio programs will be played.
The number of radio stations found and the
ranking order of currently radio program
played will be shown on the display.
To store stations: in DAB mode, press and
hold the play/ pause button (17) until “Preset
Store” is shown on the display. There are 10
memory presets, select the preset number
by rotating the on/off volume button (15) or
pressing the
or button, and then press
the play/ pause button (17) to store the
station.
Stations stored in the preset memory can be
