Assembly
WARNING!
Remove the battery before carrying out any
work on the radio.
Before switching on the radio
Unpack the stack pack radio and check that
there are no missing or damaged parts.
Inserting/replacing the battery
■
Press down the battery compartment
latch (B-1) first and open the battery
compartment cover (see figure B1).
■
Press the charged battery into the radio
until it clicks into place (see figure B2).
■
To remove, press the release button and
pull out the battery (see figure B3).
■
The power of the battery is displayed
simultaneously on the display (10).
CAUTION!
When the device is not in use, protect the
battery contacts. Loose metal parts may short
circuit the contacts; explosion and fire hazard!

sing the AC power cord
(see figure C)
■
Open the AC power inlet cover (6).
■
Insert the AC power cord (23) into the
socket (C-1).
■
Plug the AC power cord plug (23) into a
standard power outlet.
■
The radio can charge the battery when the
AC power cord (23) is connected.
■
USB devices such as cell phones, MP3
players, etc. connected to USB power ports
(20 &21) can be charged when the AC
power cord (23) is connected.
■
The AC power cord plug (23) should be
disconnected from the power outlet when
not in use.

box

To attach the radio to the box:
■
Align the steps (D-1) at the bottom of the
radio with the spring-loaded latches (D-2)
on both ends of the box.
■
Press down the radio against the box,
the spring-loaded latch (D-2) will secure
automatically (see figure D).
■
The storage box can be placed either
under the radio or on top of it.
