NOTE
–
Follow the instructions for charging the
battery in the operating instructions for
the power tool and the battery charger.
–
Reduced operating times after recharging
indicate battery wear. The battery must be
replaced.
If batteries are not used for an extended
period of time, store them partially charged
in a cool place.
Operating instructions

CAUTION!
Risk of crushing fingers when operating the
cordless tube press without a pressing jaw/
intermediate jaw.
If no pressing jaw/intermediate jaw is
inserted, fingers may be left in the hazard
area. Your fingers may be crushed when the
device is started.
– Do not operate the cordless tube press
without pressing jaws.
– Do not leave your fingers in the hazard
area.
NOTE
The cordless tube press is not suitable for
continuous operation. After 30 minutes of
uninterrupted operation, a short break of at
least 15 minutes must be taken so that the
cordless tube press can cool down.
Inserting the pressing jaw/
intermediate jaw (Fig. G–I)
Loosen the retaining bolt.
Insert the pressing jaw/intermediate jaw.
Push the retaining bolt back in firmly.
NOTE
The cordless tube press will not start if the
retaining bolt is not pushed in correctly.
The green LED flashes.
Pressing (Fig. J and K)
CAUTION!
Risk of crushing! There is a risk of crushing
of fingers and hands.
– Do not allow any body parts or foreign
objects between the pressing jaws during
the pressing process.
– Do not hold the jaw lever with your hands
during the pressing process.
Check whether the nominal diameter of
the press fitting matches the nominal
diameter of the pressing jaw/press collar.
Follow the system manufacturer's
instructions for fitting the pressing jaw/
press collar.
When using a press collar: Place the
intermediate jaw on the press collar
according to the press collar manufacturer's
instructions.
NOTE
Once pressing is complete, ensure that the
pressing jaw is fully closed.
Once pressing is complete, ensure that
there is no gap between the segments in the
press collar.
If the cordless tube press is switched off,
press the start button briefly to activate the
cordless tube press. Push the start button
again for the pressing operation.
Push the start button to start.
Once pressing is complete, when using a
press collar (Fig. J-K):
First, detach the intermediate jaw from
the press collar.
Then detach the pressing jaw/press
collar from the press fitting.
Automatic pressing system
The automatic pressing system guarantees
complete pressing at all times. It switches
on after approx. 1 second. Once the
automatic pressing system has been
triggered, the green LED goes off and the
pressing process runs automatically. The
pressing operation can now only be
interrupted by pressing and holding the
release button. Once pressing is complete,
the motor switches off automatically and the
green LED lights up again.
If the start button is released before the
automatic pressing system is used, the
piston in the pressing device returns to its
starting position. Pressing was not carried
out. The pressing process must be triggered
again.
