6. Reattach the original faceplate or attach the
replacement faceplate to the NBP as follows:
a. Decorator-style models:
Align the tabs (at top and bottom) and pegs (at
upper left and lower right corners) on the back of
the faceplate with the slots and holes on front of
the mounting plate.
EU models:
Align the two EU mounting tabs on the sides of the
faceplate with the slots on the sides of NBP EU.
Align the four faceplate mounting tabs (shown in
the inset in figure 20) on the NBP EU with the
corresponding slots in the sides of the faceplates.
b. Decorator-style models:
Gently but rmly press the faceplate against the mounting plate until the tabs and pegs are inserted into
the slots and holes, and the tabs click into place.
EU models:
Gently but firmly press the faceplate against the NBP EU until all the tabs are inserted into the slots and
the ridge on each tab snaps into place in the faceplate.
NOTE: It is important to make sure that ALL four tabs are securely snapped into place.
7. For the NBP VC1 D and NBP VC1 EU only, place the volume control knob back on its shaft and use the small
Allen wrench to tighten the set screw to secure the knob
