Connecting to PCS
The Extron PCS window opens with the Device Discovery panel open. Connect to the
device using the Device Discovery panel or the TCP/IP panel (see figure21).
NOTE: A user must have an Insider Account to download and use PCS. Contact an
Extron support representative, to obtain an Insider Account.
Device Discovery Panel
The Device Discovery panel displays accessible Extron devices connected directly to the
PC or to a LAN or WAN. Devices are identified and sorted by model, IP address, device
name, or connection method.
1. Open the Product Configuration Software program from the desktop shortcut.
The Extron PCS window opens to the Device Discovery panel (see figure21).

2. Select the FOX3SR301/311 device by clicking on it to highlight it in the list (

3. Click Connect (

To edit the IP address:
1. Click on the Edit button (

). The
Communication Settings box pens.
2. Click in the field to edit the address (see
figure22) .
3. Click Apply to complete and close.
Alternatively, click Apply and Connect
to complete and connect to the device.
Click Cancel to close the box without
changes.
