Reset button
The appliance has a safety switch on the back, which can
be triggered if the temperature is too high, for example.
1. Select the programme Synthetics.
2. Press the 【START / PAUSE】 button.
3. After approximately 20 minutes, press the
RESET button (see illustration) with your finger
or a pencil. Wait until the appliance has cooled
down.
4. Restart the appliance.
Reasons for overheating:
1. The fluff filter is blocked. Clean the fluff filter after every drying process.
2. Ventilation openings on the back of the appliance are blocked. Observe the
specified clearances (see chapter Setting up the appliance).
3. The installation room is poorly ventilated. Ventilate the installation room during
the drying process.
4. Light items of laundry, e.g. a handkerchief, are sucked in by the filter. Place the
laundry item back in the drum.
