WARNING
ELECTRIC SHOCK HAZARD!
The appliance must not be connected to the mains power supply during cleaning. Before
cleaning, switch off the appliance, remove the mains plug and switch off or unscrew the
fuse. Do not spray the appliance with a jet of water.
WARNING
EXPLOSION HAZARD!
• Do not use solvents! These agents can damage appliance parts,
develop toxic vapours and are explosive.
• Do not use a high-pressure cleaner or water jet to clean the
dryer.
1. Allow the appliance to cool down. Only clean the housing and
operating parts with lukewarm soapy water or a commercially
available, solvent-free cleaning agent.
2. Clean the inside and outside of the appliance with a cloth after
each use.
3. After cleaning, leave the appliance door open to prevent unpleasant odours.
CAUTION
Only clean with lukewarm water and do not use hard or sharp-edged objects or abrasive
cleaners.
Cleaning the fluff filter
1. Allow the appliance to cool down.
2. Open the appliance door.
3. Pull the fluff filter upwards and remove it.
4. Clean the fluff filter. Wipe off the accumulated lint.
5. Dry the filter thoroughly.
6. Replace the lint filter in its intended position in the appliance door.
➢ The fluff accumulated on the filter blocks the air circulation and
causes the drying time to be extended and increases energy
consumption.
➢ Clean the fluff filter after every use.
➢ Never operate the appliance without a fluff filter!
