Switching on the hob

1. Press the "On/Off" key (4) to switch on the

unit.

 The hob beeps once and all cooking zone

indicators light up briefly to indicate that

the hob has entered stand-by mode.

2. Carry out the next step within one minute,

otherwise the control unit will switch off

automatically.

Switching on the hob

1. Press the 1/5 button to select a cooking surface.

2. Select the desired heating level (P1-P9) with the up and down buttons (2/6).

3. Select the power level by pressing repeatedly (2/5).

 If PO is visible on the display, the hotplate switches off.

Switching off the hob

1. Press the "On/Off" button (4), the hob switches off. You can switch off the hob at

any time by pressing the "On/Off" button (4).

 When the selected heating level shows P0, the hob switches off.

 After switching off a zone, the display of the corresponding heating level

flashes "hot".

 This means that the hob temperature is above 60°C and therefore still high

enough to cause injury.

Only when the temperature of the hob falls below 60°C does the "hot" indicator go out.

Even if the temperature of a hob has dropped below 60°C, it is possible to get burnt.



The residual heat indicator goes out when the power supply to the

appliance is interrupted.

Key lock

1. To lock the hob, press the "key lock" (7) when the appliance is switched on.

 If the key lock is activated, all keys on the control panel except the "On/Off"

(4) key are locked.

2. To deactivate the key lock, press the "key lock" (7) again.

Timer

1. Select the cooking surface (1/5).

2. Select the desired heating level (P1-P9) with the up and down buttons (2/6).

3. Press the timer (3) and then set the countdown time with the up and down

buttons (2/6).

Each time you press the up or down button (2/6), the timer increases or decreases by 1

minute.

The maximum time for different power levels is given in the following table:
