AIRW WIRELESS CONTROL

Thanks to AirW wireless technology, you can link several devices wirelessly and use them in master/slave

mode without a DMX controller. The integrated AirW card works as a transmitter or receiver at 2.4 GHz. The

devices must be configured accordingly.

Note: Depending on the ambient conditions the range is up to 70 m (line-of-sight). To optimize range and

performance maintain a line-of-sight between the transmitter and receiver(s) and position the devices at least

1 m above the audience and other obstacles.

The master device will be set as transmitter that works either in stand-alone mode, with the wireless remote

control or the foot switch. The slave devices are set as receivers that work synchronously to the transmitter.

Configure the devices as indicated below.

Slave devices

Enable receiver mode in the menu. To do this, press the MENU button until the display shows AirW. Confirm

with ENTER. Then select the receiver setting RX > CH1. Press ENTER to confirm.

Note: The transmitter and receiver(s) must be set to the same transmission channel. There are 16 channels

available. This allows you to operate up to 16 independent radio links in parallel. There is no limit to the

number of devices per channel, but the radio signal becomes weaker the greater the distance to the

transmitter.

Master devices

1 Enable transmitter mode in the menu of the master device. To do this, press the MENU button until the

display shows AirW. Then select the transmitter setting and the same channel as on the slave device:

TX > CH1. Confirm with ENTER.

The AirW radio link is established and the devices are paired within 30-60 seconds. The display on the

slave devices flashes until control signals are received from the master device.

2 After pairing, switch to one of the stand-alone operating modes on the master device, use the remote

control or the foot switch. The slave devices now receive the control signal and work synchronously.
