Recommendation
• If the preset time is sooner than the actual cooking time, the rice cooker will switch on
and start cooking straight away.
• The preset time should not be too long. To avoid unpleasant odours, we recommend
a maximum of 12 hours.
• We do not recommend using this feature for fast perishable foods such as meat or
fish, if left untreated for several hours at room temperature.
• Cooked rice may change the texture to a soft one due to longer soaking time, or you
can burn it more easily.
IV. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the appliance from power supply by taking the connector of the power cord out of the
socket before any maintenance! Clean the
rice cooker
only after it has cooled down!
Clean
the appliance regularly after every use. Do not use rough and aggressive detergents! Clean
the Rice cooker A with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent. Wash the accessories D right
after use in hot water with a little detergent added, rinse it with clean water and wipe it till
dry (you can also use a dishwasher). Gently wash the inner pot C and steam cover B2 with
hot water, detergent and a sponge. Do not use abrasive cleaners, abrasive sponges or wire
brushes. If food sticks to the bottom of the inner pot, allow the pot to soak and then wipe
it clean. If the power cord is soiled, wipe it with a wet cloth. Before storage, make sure that
the appliance and all its parts have cooled down and and dry. Take care that the binding
surfaces and the sealing elements are functional. Store the appliance after cleaning at
a dry, dustfree and safe place, out of reach of children and incapacitated people. If sealing
B3 is worn out or damaged, replace it with a new one (of a similar type).
More extensive maintenance or maintenance requiring
intervention in the inner parts of the appliance must be
carried out by professional service!
Failure to comply with the instructions of the manufacturer
will lead to expiration of the right to repair!
