Caution
• When cooking, until it cools down, steam may escape from the lid of the Rice Cooker
and there is a risk of scalding.
• During cooking and when opening the lid, a leakage of hot steam may occur. Be
careful, steam and hot liquid may cause burns! Occasionally, especially at maximum
capacity, excess liquid may escape with the steam. This is a normal product feature
that does not affect functionality.
• Check that the food has been cooked sufficiently before consumption. If the food is
not cooked sufficiently, continue cooking.
• Hot water residues may remain on the inner surface of the lid, container, cover or
accessories even though the other parts are already cool. Be careful not to injure
yourself (scald or burn). Use suitable protective equipment (e.g. cloth, gloves).
Warm mode
This programme is designed to keep ready meals warm
– Press the „Warm“ button. After 5 seconds, the appliance beeps twice and the selected
program begins.
– The default warming time is 24 hours.
– The corresponding indicator "Warm/Preset" lights up and the display will show 00:00.
– After the set time has elapsed, the rice cooker automatically switches to Stand-By mode
(an acoustic signal will sound).
Recommendation
• Keep warm“ should not be used for more than 12 hours.
• The quality and structure of the cooked meal begins to change after 1 hour.
• To cancel any function at any time, press the „Cancel“ button.
Preset mode (Delay)
Use the preset timer to set the time when the rice should be ready. The maximum time is
24 hours.
– Press the „Functions“ button to select the cooking program and then press the „Preset“
button. When the „Preset“ light comes on, press the button again to set a longer time.
The first ten hours can be increased in 30-min increments and after ten hours, in 1-hour
increments.
– After setting the time, press the „Start“ button. After 5 seconds, the device will beep twice
and begin the selected program. Both the „Preset“ light and the corresponding program
light will light up.
– In preset mode, the selected program begins after the specified time.
– When the set program is complete, the rice cooker automatically switches to keep warm
mode, beeps four times and the keep warm indicator light comes on.
