Quality of pans and containers

Steel, enamelled steel, cast iron, stainless
steel with ferromagnetic bottom,
aluminium with ferromagnetic bottom.
Aluminium and stainless steel with non-
ferromagnetic bottom, copper, brass,
glass, ceramics, porcelain.
Manufacturers specify whether or not their products are compatible with induction.
To check if pans are compatible:
Pour a little water into a pan. Switch on the hob (
button). Place the pan on one of the cooking zones
and select the zone followed by the power setting
9.The water should heat up in a few seconds.
Place a magnet on the outside of the bottom of the
pan. It should stick.
Some pots and pans can make noise when placed on an induction cooking
zone. These noises do not indicate a malfunction of the appliance and do not
affect its operation in any way.
We strongly advise against using removable accessories between the
induction hob and the pan. Danger of burns and damage to the hob!

• The bottom of the pans must be as fl at as possible (no convex or concave bottom)
and not have any rough edges.
• The cooking zones automatically adjust to the size of the bottom of the pan up
to a certain limit. Containers, that are less than 140 mm in diameter, may not be
detected. For best results, place the pan in the centre of the cooking zone.
