To defrost by time:
1. In standby mode, press the Time Defrost button to enter the defrost time setting mode.
/ and dEF2 appear on the display.
2. Rotate the -/+ knob to select the defrosting time from 00:05 to 95:00 (5 seconds to
95minutes).
3. Press the Start/+30s button to confirm the setting and start defrosting. / flash
during defrosting.
TIPS:
• Use defrosted food straightaway. It is not advisable to refreeze defrosted food.
• You can pause, resume and cancel cooking as described in the “Microwave cooking”
section.
Comment:
When the oven is in operation (cooking or defrosting mode), you can increase the operating
time in two ways:
• By pressing the Start/+ 30s button; the operating time is then increased by 30 seconds.
• By rotating the -/+ knob on the control panel.
Multi-stage cooking
The multi-stage cooking function allows you to combine two cooking stages in one program.
• If you choose the defrost function, it will automatically be made stage one.
• The plus 30 seconds feature, timer and auto menu functions cannot be used with multi-
stage cooking.
Here is an example of how to programme multi-stage cooking. To defrost 500 g of food and
then cook with 80% microwave power for 7 minutes:
Stage 1
1. In standby mode, press the Weight Defrost button. / and dEF1 appear on the
display.
2. Rotate the -/+ knob to select the weight (500 g).
3. Press the Microwave button to confirm and move on to stage 2.
