Chapter 2 Setup

Windows

Attention

• A user account with “Administrator” privileges is required.

• Please consult your system administrator for the privilege setting of your account.

1.

Double-click the downloaded “CN7xx_Setup.exe” le.

The installer starts up.

2.

Install the software.

Follow the instructions to install the software.

Attention

• The “Windows Security” dialog box may appear several times when you install the software. If this dialog box

is displayed, select “Install” and proceed with the installation until the dialog box is no longer displayed.

Linux

Note

• Contact your local EIZO representative about downloading the Linux version of the installer.

After unzipping the downloaded le, run “install.sh”.

The installer starts up.

2.

Install the software.

Follow the instructions to install the software.

Attention

• A user account with root privileges is required.

• It is not possible to boot as a root user.

• The ColorNavigator 7 icon in the task tray may not appear when starting up after the initial installation. In that

case, log in to the computer again.

• When opening the main window, you must manually select the monitor on which the main window will be

displayed.

• When system information is displayed, “Monitor name” and “S/N” of the display information are not displayed.

• The ICC prole is not created even if the color mode is switched while ColorNavigator is running as a resident

program.
