4. Press the air intake grille against the vacuum
assembly until it hangs onto the assembly (Fig. E5).
To Assemble the Leaf Bag (Fig. F)
1. Align the groove and push the leaf bag connector
onto the vacuum housing until the leaf bag lock lever
locks in place.
2. Depress the leaf bag carabiner to open it and attach
it onto the carry handle for vacuum assembly.
To Remove and Empty the Leaf Bag (Fig. G1)
1. Depress the leaf bag carabiner to disconnect it from
the carry handle for vacuum assembly.
2. Push the leaf bag lock lever to disengage the latch,
and then remove the bag.
3. Open the zipper to empty the leaf bag.
To Remove the Vacuum Assembly (Fig. G2 & G3)
1. Pull the intake grille to disengage it from the vacuum
tube.
2. Push the vacuum tube lock lever to unlock the tube.
3. Remove the vacuum assembly.
4. Press the air intake grille towards the air inlet until
the lock lever latches.
MOUNTING THE SHOULDER STRAP (Fig. H)
Depress the strap carabiners to open them and attach
them onto the shoulder strap hangers at each end of the
machine.
There are two ways to release the strap. Take it off from
your shoulder directly or depress one of the carabiner to
disconnect the shoulder strap from the shoulder strap
hanger.
WARNING: When wearing the strap, no other
wearable should interfere with the release and removal of
the strap.
WARNING: If an emergency occurs, take it off from
your shoulder immediately, no matter what way the strap
is on.
WARNING: You should not use the single-shoulder
strap and double-shoulder strap simultaneously.
WARNING: Do not use shoulder strap and BH1000
EGO backpack link at the same time. This will prevent
quick emergency release of the machine, resulting in
personal injury.
OPERATION
WARNING: Do not allow familiarity with this product
to make you careless. Remember that a careless fraction of
a second is sufcient to inict serious injury.
WARNING: Always wear eye protection with side
shields, along with hearing protection. Failure to do so
could result in objects being thrown into your eyes and
other possible serious injuries.
WARNING: To prevent accidental starting that
could cause serious personal injury, always remove the
battery pack from the tool when assembling parts, making
adjustments, cleaning, or when not in use.
WARNING: Do not use any attachments or
accessories not recommended by the manufacturer of
this product. The use of attachments or accessories not
recommended can result in serious personal injury.
Before each use, inspect the entire product for damaged,
missing, or loose parts, such as screws, nuts, bolts, caps,
etc. Securely tighten all fasteners and caps and do not
operate this product until all missing or damaged parts
are replaced.
ATTACHING/DETACHING THE BATTERY PACK
NOTE:
Fully charge battery pack before rst use.
To Attach
Align the battery ribs with the mounting slots and press the
battery pack down until you hear a “click” (Fig. I1).
To Detach (Fig. I2)
Depress the battery-release button and pull the battery
pack out (Fig. I2).
WARNING: Always be aware for the location of your
feet, children, or pets when pressing the battery-release
button. Serious injury could result in if the battery pack
falls. NEVER remove the battery pack at a high location.
STARTING/STOPPING THE MACHINE
Air-speed Trigger Only
1. Depress the air-speed trigger to turn on the machine.
2. The air speed of the machine is controlled with the
variable speed trigger. More pressure on the trigger
results in higher air speeds; less pressure on the
trigger results in lower air speeds. Adjust the speed
to suit the task at hand.
